ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn’t belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn’t belong?
If you guessed this one is not like the others,
Then you’re absolutely…right!

The $hit Show continues and Trump continues to push the chaos theory of change to unprecedented limits. How far can he go? Oh, I think we may find out before this is all over. After his lack-luster “world tour” that only highlighted his incompetency for all to see. The idea that Trump is a joke took root on an international level. His feelings were hurt BIGLY during the last portion of his trip when world leaders did not kowtow to him. Let’s just say his agenda of “America First” did not go over well on the international stage…SHOCKER.

After the world swooned over Macron’s purposeful hand-shake, which was a public smack down, Trump was rumored to be infuriated. Macron described it as a moment of truth, a show of strength. It is well known that Trump uses this posturing to establish dominance so Macron just played to his level.

“My handshake with him, it’s not innocent,” Macron told the Journal du Dimanche in an interview published Sunday. “It’s not the alpha and the omega of politics, but a moment of truth (1).”

Was it all about the handshake? NO. Trump felt snubbed on every level. What did Trump expect after publicly berating leaders during his inappropriate and awkward NATO speech that went over like a lead balloon. The world was hoping Trump would reaffirm his commitment to mutual defense of NATO members and allies, article 5. Rumor has it Trump deviated from his planned speech and surprised even those closest to him when he did not reaffirm his commitment to the article 5 provision (2). We know when Trump goes off script it usually goes well…..Yeah, right. Why consult your National security adviser, McMaster, Defense Secretary, Mattis, or Secretary of State, Tillerson–What do they know? Did it make them and the rest of the US look like idiots? Sure did, but President Bannon has an agenda, folks, and it is clear he is pulling the strings.

Merkel and other leaders have made-pretend long enough. The US is being lead by a buffoon and there is no way to disguise that fact anymore. OUR EMPEROR IS NAKED and now other leaders are calling him out.

Merkel publicly spoke out against the US change in NATO policy and this is a direct rebuttal to Trump, “the times in which we could rely fully on others — they are somewhat over (3)” she declared. Yup, the US cannot be relied upon.

Has Trump been on his best behavior since returning back to the US? HELL NO!

He began tweeting the minute he returned to US soil and those of us who were enjoying the respite from that public humiliation once again got that pit in our stomachs. Recognizing the President is a lunatic and is likely to cause a major catastrophe because of his love of twitter is a hard pill to swallow. I don’t have time to highlight all the ridiculousness but I will give you my TOP 3 STUPID TWEETS from the last week:

  1. Announcing his decision to pull the US from the Paris Climate Accord as if it was a reality show (only one of 3 countries in the world who now does not participate-Syria does not participate because it is in the middle of a war and Nicaragua did not participate because they felt the Paris Agreement did not go far enough in protecting the environment). Yes, he voted the US off the planet. Why? Because that handshake was embarrassing.
  2. Using his own tweets against him in court must feel so wonderful. How is the Department of Justice supposed to defend his travel restrictions in front of the Supreme Court now…I really love how dumb he is.
  3. Terrorist attacks on foreign soil and leaders around the world sent love and support. Not Trump. What a pathetic excuse for a person.

We need a leader, folks. This guy has got to go. James Comey you better have something good for us Thursday. PLEASE!

COPING POST TRUMP ERA

How are you coping? Asking for a friend.

The level of stress since November for those opposed to Trump is PTSD worthy. How bad could he be? He will surround himself with good people. He will drain the swamp of career politicians. He is smarter that he looks.

NOPE!

It is bad, everyday there is some sort of Trump $hit Show and my coping skills are being tested to their limit.

WILL PARIS GET THE ROSE, WILL THE US BE VOTED OFF THE EARTH

Trump announced yesterday on—-wait for it, wait for it—twitter [I know, you are not even shocked anymore] that he will decide today whether he will pull the US out of the Paris Agreement.

What is the Paris Accord? Think of it as a signed statement that your country believes in climate change/global warming and is committed to helping to save the planet.

Will Paris get the rose? Will the US be voted off the EARTH? I guess we will find out.

MAN’S EGO VS MISOGYNY

Artist, Alex Gardena, who created the Wall Street “Charging Bull” statue was not happy when the “Fearless Girl” was installed. She was placed in celebration of Women’s International Day and due to her popularity was granted an extended stay by Mayor Blasio. She stands tall despite her short stature facing the “Charging Bull” down. A girl standing against oppression is what many see. Her fearlessness and strength are symbolic of the struggles of the everyday girl/woman and particularly poignant in today’s political climate, in this Trump-Era. Alex, unfortunately does not see or understand the strong connection people feel with that fearless girl and publicly opposed her placement from the get-go.

He decided to display his objection yesterday by placing a statue of a pug peeing on the fearless girl. The peeing dog statue has since been removed but not before a very public outcry was heard. Alex claimed, “most people were amused or perplexed by it (1)”.

No, Alex, most people were insulted by it. It was well-known by most that you objected to the instillation of the “Fearless Girl” statue and although you claim the “Fearless Girl” was “made by a billion-dollar financial firm trying to promote an index fund (1)” that is not what the rest of the world saw in her. You, as an artist, should be able to look past your ego and see the art through the eyes of those who are there to appreciate it. That fearless girl is all of us, all women, and I for one love her. To me she is THE RESISTER and every time I see her she fills me with hope.

Alex, you want to degrade that girl, shame her with the urine of a dog as if she is no more meaningful than a fire-hydrant. Well, guess what, a little pee never hurt anyone—unless you are talking about Trump, because in that case that pee, that urine tape, is likely the reason why Trump is being blackmailed by Russia and the reason why we are all in this mess.

TRUMP INTERNATIONAL EMBARASSMENT

Trump’s International Tour is an embarrassment. When he first got started it seemed like he was on his best behavior; he let his entourage provide the embarrassment. Wilbur Ross marveled over the lack of protestors in Saudi Arabia as a sign of acceptance and good will for Trump. He received a public smack-down on twitter for that one (1).

When Trump arrived in Israel he talked about his great trip to the Middle East…yup, an excellent example of his intelligence and I am sure it was much appreciated in Israel.

He made a quick stop in Rome to meet the Pope and he made our happy loving Pope sad.

The Pope gave him a special gift—God, I love this Pope:

During an initially awkward meeting in Vatican City, Francis presented President Trump with a signed copy of “Laudato Si” — the pontiff’s 192-page work calling for a new partnership between science and religion to combat human-driven climate change. In doing so, the pope seemed to make a clear statement to a president who once called climate change a Chinese plot and is on the cusp of deciding whether to honor the Paris agreement on addressing global warming (2).

He then headed to NATO where world leaders were warned ahead of time to dump-down speeches and keep them short due to Trump’s well known short attention span (3).

While there Trump pushes past Montenegro Prime Minister so he could get in front for a photo opt. “Me first, me first–let me through, important man coming through.” His smug expression and suit adjusting say it all.

His speech at NATO where he scolds world leaders for not paying their share went over like a lead balloon and cemented the impression of his ignorance.

European leaders gazed unsmilingly at Trump while he said that “23 of the 28 member nations are still not paying what they should be paying and what they are supposed to be paying,” and that they owe “massive amounts” from past years — a misstatement of NATO’s spending targets, which guide individual nations’ own domestic spending decisions (4).

His speech was met with laughter and awkward silence…

Then he was caught calling Germans very bad and threatened to back out of deals with Germany. Smart foreign policy move? I think not. Merkel will best this buffoon.

According to Der Spiegel, Trump told EU leaders Thursday that the Germans “are bad, very bad” as he singled out the country’s automotive industry for criticism. “See the millions of cars they are selling in the U.S,” Trump said. “Terrible. We will stop this.” The president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, reportedly responded by defending Germany (5).

I will leave you with this gem–ENJOY!

TRUMP DANGER TO NATIONAL SECURITY

Last night my husband and I had one of our many discussions about Trump, the theme is typically, “How did we get here? How was this man elected?” For those who follow Ms. Momocracy you know that I struggle with the idea that so many fellow Americans, friends and neighbors would be willing to overlook Trump’s severe character flaws or that they bought into his campaign rhetoric built on a policy of hate.

“Lock her up”—I have family members who believed that one. In fact, I remember during the early stages of the campaign saying to a family member that I believed Trump could never be elected and their response was that Hillary would be indicted before the election. They truly believed she had done something illegal. The emails! The EMAILS! National Security violations.

Yes, not using a secured server was dumb and should be scrutinized BUT isn’t the bigger issue that Russia hacked these emails with the intention of influencing the US election, discrediting Hillary, and electing their Putin Patsy, Trump. And that Russia planted stories about said emails, to keep the story “hot” so that Americans would buy into their manipulative-calculated scandal. AND stories about the scandal were feed to areas of the country where people were more likely to buy into the conspiracy theory, and more likely to be Trumpsters. Trumpsters, YOU WERE DUPED and the worst thing about the email scandal is that you will still not admit it was a Russian made scandal and you were influenced by it. #FarcicalFoxNews and Trumpsters are still focused on Hillary’s emails, which by the way REVEALED NOTHING.

Trump did more damage in ONE meeting with Lavrov and Kislyak, then the entire Russian Hillary Email scheme.

That meeting was a total $hit show:

  1. The meeting was arranged only after firing Comey the night before
  2. It was rumored to only have been arranged at Putin’s request
  3. Trump banned US press from the room but not the Russian press
  4. Trump divulged classified “CODEWORD” security information; security so sensitive you have to use code words to talk about it
  5. The security leak was a result of a ego brag, “My security is so good, it is the best…”
  6. The security was from an international ally [Israel–Trump later reveals this breach on his visit to Israel]
  7. Trump also bragged [theme emerging] about firing the “Nut Job” Comey and in the same breath provided evidence against himself for obstruction of justice in the FBI investigation into Russian/Trump collusion.

“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

Still don’t believe he is a threat to national security? Maybe this meeting was just a “bad day” moment or you buy into the fact that as President he can do whatever he wants, that this was not illegal and he is a smart man that would never put the US in harm because of his incompetence….well, if you believe that you must be a die-hard Trumpster and nothing short an earth implosion will likely get you to change your mind.

Trump is on a international tour this week and his security breaches continue. When he meet with Israel this week, he publicly drove home the point that he can’t be trusted. Saying something like this, “I did not say it was Israel who provided the classified information that I then passed on to the Russians, see I can keep a secret.” Do you think Israel is going to share highly classified intel with the US, with Trump, now—if you think so, you just may be a Trump supporter.

Or how about when he brags [yup, the bragging is definitely a problem] to the Philippine President on Wednesday about two nuclear submarines of the coast of North Korea–cover blown, folks.
This man is a danger to himself, a danger to Americans, and a danger to the world.

I TOLD YOU SO

I will admit that there is a strong voice in my head wanting to shout at the top of my lungs: “I TOLD YOU SO!!!” So many of us shared that same pit in our stomachs when we watched the tv on election night and again on Inauguration Day. Contrary to what many Trump supporters claimed, this was never about Clinton losing and Trump winning. This feeling of dread was always about Trump, who he is, what he represents, and the damage we feared he would do to our society and our government. I don’t know a single person who would have felt this way had Kasich, Carson, Bush, Christie, Rubio, Cruz, or any of the others had won. We may not have agreed with them on policy, but none of them brought fear into our hearts the same way that Trump did. We saw the way he encouraged the Alt-Right. We heard the racist things he said. We cringed when we heard him talk about women. We knew who he surrounded himself with and we knew what the cost would be to the things we hold dear: healthcare, the environment, equal rights for ALL, the integrity of our government, and the security of our Democracy. Never before had a U.S. President been met with protests throughout the country. Never have before had so many calls been made to representatives asking them to take action against Trump’s appointments or his actions.

As the news has unfolded the last several weeks, I know many of us have experienced the same twinge to say, “I told you so,” but, if you’re like me, anger and sadness are the overriding emotions. I’m pissed that Trump and his associates and whoever else is involved put our country in this position!! I’m furious to find out that it looks like several prominent Republicans suspected that Russia was involved months before the election and chose to keep it quiet. I’m seeing red over the fact that they continued to support Trump even when the need for an independent counsel became obvious in order to retain Americans’ faith in our system.

But mainly, I think I’m sad. I still can’t believe that this country elected Trump. I can’t believe that someone so heinous sat in the Presidential chair for even one minute. He has tainted the position and brought forth a lot of negativity in this country that I never knew existed to that extent. He made it very apparent that racism, sexism, homophobia, and xenophobia are still very much a part of our society and that we have a long way to go for equality for all. Trump’s election and Presidency have also made it obvious that wealth and power can easily threaten our democracy and way of life. Our system of checks and balances is not as infallible as we had hoped.

We are ordinary citizens who united to protest against the injustice we saw in the Trump administration. We’re not politicians. We’re not reporters. We are normal, everyday moms from different parts of the country who came together with a common goal: to not be silent; to stand up for what is right; to support one another and whoever we could reach…and we will continue to do so in the coming months. We are thankful for each other and for all of the people “out there” reading our posts. We hope we have given you an outlet for your feelings and helped you feel like you’re not alone in your outrage with this administration.

Stay strong, keep being loud and stand up for what you believe in!!

TRUMP DIVULGES SECRET INTEL TO RUSSIA CLAIMING HE HAS THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO DO SO

Trump administration’s vision was to “Make America Great Again (MAGA)”. How? Draining the Swamp, Building a Wall…Locking Her Up—-oh, those are not real policies? Those are just racist, elitist, fascist-propoganda chants. There are many problems with Trump’s MAGA vision, the first being that America was already great, the second is hate based agenda will NEVER make anything great and the third is you would be hard pressed to find a reasonable person who finds anything great about Trump at this point.

For those who saw Trump as he was long ago, none of this is a surprise. The surprise is how long it is taking for everyone else to see this man has severe character flaws that make him ineligible and incompetent to serve in the role of President of the US. If someone shows you they are morally bankrupt, not to be trusted, a liar, a misogynist, a racist, a xenophobe, a poor business man, etc—at some point you have to believe them.

Trump’s latest scandal is the Russia/Comey/Russia debacle. Trump and his administration are under FBI investigation for Russian collusion and Russian interference in the US election process. We know Russia hacked our election process and worked to help get Trump elected but we don’t know what role Trump or any of his cronies played in the process; hence, the FBI investigation.

So last week Trump fired FBI director James Comey. He had his press team publicly state that Comey was fired for his handling of the hacked email issue and that the firing was based on the recommendation of Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, who is rumored to have threatened to quit over the whole debacle—-but he did not and is still working there, now he is helping his boss, Dirty Jeff Sessions, find Comey’s replacement. Does it bother them that Sessions was forced to recuse himself from all investigations into TrumpRussia because he himself LIED UNDER OATH during his confirmation hearing? or that Trump originally stated it was Rosenstein’s and Sessions’ recommendation that Comey be fired and Sessions was not supposed to be involved in the TrumpRussia scandal——OR is the bigger $hit Show the fact that Trump came out days later in an interview with Lester Holt and claimed that he knew all along he was going to fire Comey–basically proving his staff to be liars—-or that they are lead by an incompetent buffoon.

Last night the Washington Post broke a story that Trump discussed highly sensitive intel regarding ISIS during his impromptu meeting with Lavrov and Kslyak. Yes, the same meeting that took place the day after Comey’s firing, the same meeting that it was reported the US press was banned from attending, the same meeting that a photo leaked from the Russian team….the stench of all of this is overwhelming.

Trump’s response to the Washington Post’s article about Trump leaking highly classified intel to the Russians….well here is his tweet (yup, we are still talking about his tweets) from this morning:

“President Donald J. Trump said early Tuesday that he had an “absolute right” to share with top Russian officials information about an Islamic State threat during a White House meeting last week. (3)”

The President can declassify intel but at what point does national security become an issue–NOW—the time is NOW. Our President is illegitimate and incompetent. He is working to remove all checks and balances. When will Republicans rise up for their Country and put their Country over their party?
